Need help disabling sync feature

We are looking to use the app but have a security requirement where we need to disable the capability to sync up to the Zotero cloud. We could do this either locally on the app via some sort of local settings, but would need to know what those are. Alternatively, we could block the web traffic of the app, but would need to know what to block specifically. Could someone please reach out with some info?

You'd probably want to block api.zotero.org at the DNS level. Note that that will currently also block retraction notifications, though that will likely change in the future. (It will also block the web library, including other people's public groups.)

It would be good to make clear to users that it's blocked so they don't try to set up syncing and get frustrated (and come here for help).
