Items added to new collection are sometimes removed from original collection

Usually, when I have items in a collection, and move a subset into a new collection, the items remain in the original collection. However, sometimes the items are automatically removed from the old collection when added to the new, which isn't the desired behavior.

There's almost no way that's happening for a regular drag — that's just not the default behavior. It would happen if you held down a modifier key while dragging, though.

Okay, that narrows it down for me. I wasn't holding a modifier, but my bluetooth devices (apple keyboard and wacom) have been acting odd lately. I suspect my hardware is the problem. Thanks.
