Upgrade StorageError when italicizing in notes

Zotero infrequently crashes when I use the italics short cut (ctrl + i) to italicize in a note. This crash happens both when I'm typing in the note when it is docked in the Zotero window, and when I have double clicked to bring the note window out (can't think of proper terms right now, but I hope that makes sense). The note and middle panel go blank and Zotero tells me to restart the program.
This crash has happened in the past, but seemed to stop (or maybe I stopped italicizing). It just happened twice in a row with the same document, though. I'm not sure how to replicate this error since it doesn't happen everytime I use ctrl + i, and I don't recall it happening with bold or underline.
