home screen missing 3 dots upper left Bug report ID 718611701

The screen simply does not show these three buttons, so I cannot get to preferences or the data to back it up. Cannot post a screenshot. How do I get my buttons?

    I don't know what three dots you're referring to, but you access the preferences via the Edit menu in the Windows version of Zotero.
