Merging Multiple Documents

So I'm using Zotero to write my research paper for college and I have to write it in parts (different files for different sections for eg: introduction.docx, analysis.docx, conclusion.docx) throughout the paper I have to cite certain Statutes/Case Laws repeatedly. If I do all citations through Zotero and copy-paste the documents into one big document at the end will Zotero automatically sort out the citations using supra/ibid and other necessary rules?

BlueBook 20th edn. format.
  • Yes, that'll work. Make sure that the document you're pasting into has at least one citation inserted already, though.
  • Could I just setup citation preferences for that and paste on a bare document?
  • Yes, that would work too. The key part is that the target document needs to have a citation style set, so if you do that via "Document Preferences" rather than by inserting a citation, that's fine, too.
  • Understood. I'll keep you updated as to how it works out. Thank you!
