Upgrade StorageWord not communicating with Zotero
Hi, I keep getting the error on Word that "Word cannot communicate with Zotero. Please ensure Zotero is open and try again." Zoetro is open and the add-on are enabled. I have tried disabling them and restarting both word and zotero and it still wont work. Zotero has been reinstalled on my computer more then once so maybe thats the problem but I dont know how to fix that. Additionally the word is version 16.16.26. The Mac is MacOS High Sierra V 10. 13.6 and the Zoetro is v 5.0.89. This problem repeatedly keeps happening to me and i some how fix it and then it happens again a week later and I have read through all the other threads about this problem but still cant figure it out. It's getting very annoying that I'm about to give up on Zotero. Please help.
As noted there, the most likely cause of this is starting Zotero from a disk image rather than dragging it to Applications and starting from there. It can also happen if you have multiple versions of Zotero on your system (e.g., "Zotero" and "Zotero 2").
