can't retrive a citation to add to a word document

https://www.cancerresearchuk.org/sites/default/files/april2020_cruk_hsc_submission_covid_cancer_final_public.pdf is saved - webpage with snapshot. I have named it in the bibliographic details. When I try to add as citation in my Word document either with that name or using the URL it cannot be found. New to Zotero - what am I doing wrong? Many thanks

If you try to save a PDF directly, it shouldn't save as a webpage with snapshot — the save button should show a PDF icon, and clicking it should save the PDF directly to Zotero as a standalone attachment. Zotero will then try to recognize the PDF and retrieve metadata for it, and create a parent item if it can. If it can't, it will leave the PDF as a standalone attachment, and you would need to either save a parent item another way or right-click on it, choose Create Parent Item, and enter details manually. You can't cite a standalone attachment.

Read through these two pages to make sure you understand the basics here:
