Storage for new Group

I have just created a new group and it seems that this group is not getting access to my storage quote. On the storage overview page I don't see it listed. There's plenty of free storage available.

Do I need to manually change a setting somewhere on a group so it can use to storage associated with my account?

I'm the group owner and I have a 2GB storage upgrade.

Any ideas?

You disabled file editing for the group in the group settings.

Note that Public Open groups, meaning anyone can join the group at any time, do not allow for file storage. If you switch a group from Public Open, to Private or Public Closed, you'll need to also enable file editing for the group.
