Downloading Files from Web Database Interface

Hello, all!

I am working with a large Zotero library, and I'm not always sitting at my main machine. If I'm logged in through the web client, is there a way to download a file (like a .pdf) that's attached to an entry?
  • As long as you're syncing files, sure — you can just view the PDF in the web library and save it to disk the same way you'd save any other PDF you viewed online (e.g., the download button in the browser's PDF viewer).

But note that you're at your file sync quota, so if you're not seeing files as accessible online, it's likely because they haven't been uploaded. If you have file syncing enabled, you should be seeing a warning about that when you sync. You'd have to either reduce the amount of files you have or add a storage subscription to sync all files and make them accessible online.
  • (And if you're just trying to view the PDFs, there's no need to download them. You can just view them directly in the web library. It's not clear to me if that's what you're asking.)
  • You've answered the question perfectly! Thanks for your time.
