add/edit citation not working

When I choose to add a citation (in Word), instead of offering me the bar in which to type the reference I wish to add, my zotero library opens. Has the method of adding citations changed?

    I'd guess that either 1) the red bar is simply appearing behind the main Zotero window, and you need to cycle through open windows to find it or 2) you enabled the classic citation dialog in the Cite pane of the preferences and are actually seeing that rather than the main window.

    Thanks for this :) Alas, I've checked both and it is neither option. Is there anything else you think I could check?

    Can you restart Zotero and provide a Debug ID for clicking Add/Edit Citation?

    Citation bar has just returned :) Possibly I had a preferences window open. Thanks for your help. If it happens again I'll try the Debug ID route.
