Unable to add pdf to library via zotero connector (firefox)

I'm unable to add a pdf from my browser via zotero connector. Little red X appears.

    Could we see a Debug ID from Zotero (rather than the connector) for the save attempt?

    Yes, for sure. It is D1178261781

    (However, it seems to be happening only with certain pdfs as i've been able to add some but not all)

    The site you're trying to download from is incorrectly configured.

    There's an explanation here in the context of proxy or WebDAV servers (where it's more commonly experienced), but it's the same issue. Loading the site fails in a new Firefox profile for the same reason.

    (So as a workaround, if you can access the site in your current browser profile, you should just download the PDF and drag it onto the item in Zotero.)
