Lengthy Author Names

Using Zotero and biblatex how do I cite something where the author is both and organization and lengthy like "American Radio Relay League" but the citation key is short like "ARRL2019" ?

    If you use Zotero with LaTeX, you should install the BetterBibTeX plugin. Then, you can specify a custom citation key in Extra like this:
    Citation key: ARRL2019

    I'm not going to argue against the use of BBT (obviously), but adding Citation key: ARRL2019 will also work with the standard Bib(La)TeX exporters.

    Oh, good to know. I still recommend BBT for its many other expanded BibTeX features it provides.

    No objections from me :) I added the feature to the standard Bib(La)TeX exporters so they would pick up the citekey where BBT put it.
