Hi,
whenever I copy any reference from Google scholar and trying to cite that article in my thesis I can not. I am getting the message that "The highlighted citation no longer exists in your Zotero database. Do you want to select a substitute item?"
Please help me out to fix this issue. Thanks.

adamsmithSorry for the late response. You're misreading the error message: it is not about the new citation, but about an existing one, the one that is/should be highlighted in your document when the error message is displayed.
