Sync problems with 2.0b2
Error Codes: #30584113 and # 1402381802 and #1155386781
Can you give me any information from these error codes about what might be causing my sync problems?
I continue to have problems with syncing my computers, and this is the second time this week this has happened. I am running 2.0b2 on Vista laptop, Win XP laptop and Mac OS X. I have been able to get all 3 computers synced, then after working on my Mac desktop all day, when I try one last sync to my laptop (so I can take my work with me the next day), I get the yellow triangle error message.
When it fails, I have tried manual sync a couple of times (no luck), then sync with Restore from Zotero server and still get yellow triangle. Tonight I tried creating a new/different folder to store my Zotero files, and then restore from server, but still got error message (Error Code: #30584113)
Are these errors due to a problem syncing from Zotero or something else? Any clues you can offer would be appreciated. I cannot tell where to look for the problem.
One Question
How does opening or not opening the Zotero pane from inside Firefox affect a sync for a restore? I am not clear whether I should leave it closed to sync after Firefox restarts because opening it causes an interruption that affects the sync, or if I am supposed to open the pane in order to get the sync started?
Any help would be much appreciated – this is getting frustrating. Thanks,
