ZoteroBib with Korean

Hello, zotero!

When I make a bibliography with ZoteroBib, the bibliography is mixed with Korean.
For example, the following is a bib for "https://www.zotero.org" created with ZoteroBib.

"Zotero | Your personal research assistant. https://www.zotero.org/. 접근된 2019년 3월 18일."

I'm using windows 10 with Korean and Chrome with English.
How can I build a bibliography with only English?
Is there any setting or does it need service update?
  • ZoteroBib automatically uses your browser's webpage language setting to generate bibliographies. You can configure that in your browser settings.

If you're seeing something unexpected, what do you see for navigator.language on this page:

  • Thank you, dstillman!

I checked the website in your reply!

Even my Chrome browser has been set as English, "request.getLocale():" in the localeplanet.com was Korean.
After I changed my Windows OS's "system locale" from Korean to English, however, ZoteroBib prints bibliography with only English.

I guess ZoteroBib is checking locale of OS, not Internet browser.

No, what matters is the value of navigator.language — the second line from the top. What do you see for that when your system is set to Korean and Chrome is set to English?

My Mac system language is set to English, and if I change the Language setting in Chrome to prefer Korean and load ZoteroBib, I get entries in Korean, as expected. The system locale shouldn't matter.
  • Also, to be clear, you have to actually order the languages in Chrome so that your preferred language is at the top. It's not enough just to add others.
  • Oh, I see.
I tested system locale as Korean and English, while setting chrome to English at the top order of language setting.
ZoteroBib prints with only English, regardless of how the system locale is set to Korean or English.

    Thanks!
