Connector not working on google chrome/docs

I have the latest versions of both chrome and the connector, all the permissions hae been allowed, but when I open google docs there is no "Zotero" option in between "addons" and "help" as described here: https://www.zotero.org/support/google_docs

Check under Zotero Connector Preferences -> Advanced whether the Google Docs integration is enabled. It should be by default.

I am having the same issue. The "Zotero" tab is not showing in Google Docs although "Enable Google Docs Integration" is checked in the Preferences.

@stefnickels: Restart your browser, and if that doesn't help try uninstalling and reinstalling the Zotero Connector. Then open Google Docs in a new tab.
