Upgrade StorageSearch for parent items which do not contain child notes

As the title says really - I'm trying to set up and save an advanced search which would display any parent items in my library under which there are no child notes.
My usual process when reading is to save my notes in Zotero in child notes under the parent item (usually multiple notes for different chapters), so I'd like to be able to run an advanced search like this to basically display what I've not yet read and need to go and look at.
Any help would be appreciated!

and then check "Only Show Top-level Items"
