Newbie Question

Apologies for not finding this in the texts. I would like to use Zotero off an external drive, but I have not found the answers to these questions:
1. What is the name of the file I would use?
2. How do I point the software to the external drive? Or will simply clicking on the Zotero drive do the trick?

Set your data directory in Zotero's Advanced preferences to a folder on the external drive: https://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data
