Recovering the comments under documents

My laptop was stolen yesterday, and of course I haven't made any back up yet this academic year. All of my notes are there in Zotero app. I tried opening "my library" online but it does not seem to show the comments under files, only shows the standalone notes. Is there any way to recover what I had written under the docs? Thanks in advance.

I'm afraid if you don't have a backup then there'd only be what you see online. I'm not sure what you mean by "comments under files", though? Are you referring to child notes or something else?

To be clear, the way syncing works, you should have everything from whenever the last time you synced was. You wouldn't have some items and not others, unless all of the missing ones were created later and never synced.
