Plug-in for Word won't show up

I have seen this a few times in other forums, and unfortunately everything that was suggested i tried with no success. I have tried to copy and paste the location into the startup file of word, made sure zotero.dot was checked under the developer tab, reinstalled the add in through zotero, and made sure zotero for word was enabled. On my desktop computer i have the zotero plugin on the ribbon display on word, but on my laptop it only shows up under the 'add ons' tab with very small icons.

Does anyone know how i can make the actual tab show up on Word??
