Delete file from a collection

I copied a file from Collection A to Collection B and now want to delete the original file in Collection A. When I highlight the file and click on Edit, the Delete option is greyed out and I can't select it. Checked other files and I'm not able to highlight Delete for any of them. Dragging file to Mac trash can doesn't work either. Such a simple thing, I must be missing something - any advice much appreciated!

    It sounds like you're using the web library.

    1) There's a Remove from Collection button that does what you want.

    2) For any significant work, you really want to be using the Zotero program, not the website.
