Lost Standalone files. Irretrievable?

I recently tried a reset of my hard drive to deal with a battery issue. I chose to keep files (!), but it warned that some apps might disappear. And so did Adobe and Microsoft Office, which have been restored or replaced.

Zotero also went, and I am (a) unable to find the Standalone product that I was using before, and (b) unable to find the bibliography that I had compiled in it. I have a Word printout with most of that, but would obviously love not to have to re-enter manually.

Any pointers for getting back on my feet?

There's only one version of Zotero now, and it's a standalone version. Have you reinstalled Zotero, and do you see your data?
