Licence restrictions on imported metadata

Are there any licence restrictions on metadata that has been imported from a third party? All of my metadata has come from NCBI PubMed and Crossref, if I export my library as a bibtex file who owns that data? Can I distribute the exported metadata? Obviously I would cite PubMed and Crossref as the sources of the original data.

There may be legal grey areas for some databases, especially if you're going to republish large quantities of metadata, but CrossRef and PubMed are explicitly open licensed:

Perfect, I am only interested in fairly small sets of metadata.
