Not able to sync on Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.5

An error occurred during a connection to api.zotero.org.

SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length.

Error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG

  • Also, have you been able to sync up until now? Zotero 5.0.55, which was just released, does a much better job of showing connection and security errors that would've prevented syncing before, but it shouldn't cause any new problems.

    Currently using Zotero 5.0.55, and getting the same error.

    I tried to "Report errors..." but got the following message:
    Invalid response from repository

    @krish.sinha: You didn't say whether this was actually new in 5.0.55, but there's a good chance this is due to security software on your system intercepting requests.
