Style Error: Acta Paediatrica
I'd like to report some errors in the CSL for Acta Paediatrica. I've had the editorial team point out the following errors, consistent with the style guide provided on their website (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/page/journal/16512227/homepage/forauthors.html):
- The reference list should be formatted double-spaced
- Journal titles should be in italic
- There should be no full stop after journal titles
- The month of the issue publication should be omitted
- The issue number should be omitted
- The reference list should be formatted double-spaced
- Journal titles should be in italic
- There should be no full stop after journal titles
- The month of the issue publication should be omitted
- The issue number should be omitted
So I've made a new custom style based on vancouver, but with the edits pointed out.
Can you clarify this? "The month of the issue publication should be omitted"
Can you give me an example?
You can test the new style from here: https://github.com/POBrien333/styles/raw/501c6d82b90ec31f6c2553164c377acfd9932845/dependent/acta-paediatrica.csl
I sure can. In the below example the month (Mar) appears after the year (2015). I have pulled the correct example straight from a recent open access article from Acta Paediatrica which you can see here (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1111/apa.14314)
Incorrect would be:
Sanchez K, Spittle AJ, Allinson L, Morgan A. Parent questionnaires measuring feeding disorder in preschool children: a systematic review. Dev Med Child Neurol 2015 Mar; 57: 798–807.
