Remove DOI from European Radiology Style

Hello everyone

I am having trouble editing the "European Radiology" citation style. I want to remove DOI on all citations where I have page no. available. Somehow Zotero does register this itself. Maybe there is an option I am not aware of?

Thank you for helping.

Best regards,
Brian
  • I'd strongly recommend leaving the DOI in the style. Springer, the journal publisher, uses the DOIs during typesetting to accurately connect the references to Crossref and other databases. The journal author guidelines also state that the DOI should be included http://www.european-radiology.org/for-authors/submission-guidelines/
  • Journal titles should be abbreviated according to the Index Medicus. Only if the complete citation is not available (journal, issue and page range), should the DOI be given. Authors should follow the examples shown below.

So if I have the full citation - should it not be removed?
  • Yes, Springer journals generally prefer to have the DOI in the submission, even it they are removed during typesetting. I would leave them in.
  • Thank you for your insigths. I will look for DOI on the citations that's missing it.
  • You can quickly find DOIs by searching on http://crossref.org
