Endnote to Zotero & Tagging

Hello,

Is it possible to upload an endnote library to Zotero, *without* keeping the PDF's that have been uploaded, and just keeping the pubmed ID or something of the sort? And if so, can the endnote tags be kept as Zotero tags?

If you place the RIS or EndnoteXML file anywhere _other_ than in the Endnote folder during import, Zotero won't (be able to) import PDFs.

Does Zotero not keep Endnote tags? I thought it did.
