Sync problem report ID 1460829242

My Zotero library has not synced since 11-19-2017. I found out because my computer was stolen. On the new computer, the library is not syncing either. I have added a new item and it does not appear online.

I have checked My Library and Feeds in the Sync Settings. As far as I know this was also the case with my old laptop. I have had unlimited storage with Zotero for a number of years.
  • Are you actually getting a sync error? If so, what does it say?

    Can you provide a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) for a sync attempt that fails?
  • I donĀ“t get a sync error, actually. The last item I added, eventually showed up online but only after a few days. An item that I added today has not been synced yet.

    As far as I can remember, I did not receive sync error messages on the old computer. But even if I did, they are lost now, along with the laptop.
    I assume there is nothing Zotero can do to recover the lost files?

  • If the data never synced, there's no way to restore it, no.

    If you're still having trouble syncing and aren't getting a sync error, we'd want to see a Debug ID for adding the item and a subsequent sync that doesn't upload the item.
