Upgrade StorageCan't create "child note," only a new stand alone note - version 5.0.30
Hi, I'm not able to create child notes off of a pdf document, only stand alone notes.
The command button for child notes remais greyish and doesn't respond. The stand alone note button is fully black.
I'm using Zotero on a Mac - iOS Sierra
How can I solve this problem?

adamsmithYou can't attach child notes to PDFs -- you'd have to create a Zotero item (right-click --> Retrieve Metadata or Create Parent item on the PDF) and can then attach a child note to that item.
