Missing Collections

Can anyone help?

We had a new server installed which was not compatible with the old version of Zotero that we were previously running.

Whilst on the new server we upgraded to the Zotero cloud only to find that when we done this we could no longer see our collections. Our IT department have told us that we can't reinstate the collections from one of our backups because the old Zotero is not compatible with our new server.

Is there any way around this or will we just have to re do all of the collections?

    Apologies, a server is a computer that serves many kinds of information to user or client machines.

    So we replaced our old one with a new one and it seems now that the formatting with the old version of Zotero is not compatible with our new server?
  • Dan knows what a server is. But it's not clear exactly what setup you had previously had with Zotero on the old server and what the new setup is. Can you provide more detail about exactly how you were using Zotero under each setup?
