installing zotero on windows but not on C drive

it seems that the installation procedure of zotero 5 for windows imposes an installation on the c drive.
how to install the program on another drive?
  • Not sure what you mean — like with any standard installer, you can choose a different location if you want to.

Zotero does want to write its profile directory to your AppData directory by default, and its data directory to your home directory, but you can change both of those with command-line flags (-profile and -datadir, respectively, the latter taking either a path or 'profile' to use the profile directory instead).
