I have downloaded the zotero add-on for firefox to my work computer (an HP laptop, running Windows), but I cannot open the zotero pane in my browser. The "Z" button on my toolbar is gray (nothing happens when I click it). I have tried Shift+ctrl+z, restarting the browser and the computer, un-installing and re-installing the plug-in. Nothing seems to work.

Any ideas on how o fix this issue?

In 5.0 you need the Zotero app to view your data locally, and the Z button from the connector should turn into a save icon (newspaper, book, etc.) when you're on a webpage.
