Z button extension in Firefox is not showing up

Before I was able to click on the z button, then all the current folders would pull up, but now only the zotero web page snap shot extension button is available? Trying to save articles online (with reference information) into appropriate folders, but Zotero on Firefox has changed. Is there a way to see the folders and save articles using Firefox?

You need to install Zotero (Standalone). Items downloaded from Firefox will save in the selected folder as previously.

It works now. I guess to save into the correct folder you have to click on it, then click on the online zotero extension to get it to go into the correct folder. Is that how it works?

I'm not sure I know what you mean by the "online zotero extension" -- basically what has changed for you is that instead of clicking on the "Z" in Firefox, you open Zotero Standalone (e.g., by clicking on the "Z" in your taskbar or equivalent). The rest works the same.
