Automatic Highlighting of New and Imported Items

One of the simple features that I appreciated in previous versions of the Zotero app is how new items or an imported reference would be automatically selected in the application after they are created. In the latest version, but I have to search for the new/imported item. I hope this can be added back into the next update.

Also, if I've overlooked an option or setting to make this happen, I'd be very happy to know where to find it.

    That should still be the case and is for me. What exactly is your setup and how are you importing?

    I'm on MacOS 10.12.6 running Zotero 5.0.10. Zotero fails to highlight new entries when I've done a search to see if I have an item in Zotero, and then create or import a new item. Zotero does, however, highlight new entries when I've not done a search first.

    Zotero also fails to highlight the new item when it is duplicated.
