Sync problem: error message no longer applies, but libraries still not syncing

When attempting to sync, I am receiving an error message saying that the creator's name on a particular item is too long to sync, and it says to "search for the item with this creator and shorten it. Note that the item may be in the trash or in a group library." I have deleted this item entirely and searched to make sure that it is no longer in any Zotero folder, including the trash. However, my libraries are still not syncing, and I still am getting the same error message about the same item. Any thoughts?

If you're still getting the error, the item it mentions definitely still exists in your library or in the trash. Make sure the message isn't now referring to another item.
