The only way to sync attachments in groups at this time is to use Zotero File Storage. So it _is_ possible to save attachments to the cloud, just not the cloud you're looking for.

This is due to a technical issue, not some arbitrary limitation: Zotero wouldn't really be able to handle the permissions for different group members on a WebDAV (over which it has no control), so I'm not sure that's ever going to happen -- certainly not any time very soon.

Is there any way to save my attachments from my main library to Box.com, and the attachments from my group library to Zotero?

Because, I have to admit, I have way to many attachments in my main library: I would bust to allowed space instantly if I'd have to sync everything on Zotero only.

This should be quite straightforward when looking at the Sync tab in the Zotero preferences, yes.

Also, unlimited storage space is relatively cheap for Zotero, so it wouldn’t be impossible to move to Zotero entirely if you prefer.
