Lost saved documents while trying to sync

Hi guys,
I was working on assignment saved all my reference material to a library folder
I decided to sync my library on a different machine
Now, I have lost the entire document
What should I do to retrieve the file

You'd have to give us a more precise rundown of what you saved&synced where and how. Sync doesn't delete local data.

Hey guys
I created a folder in my library called APES004 last 23 days ago
I have been downloading and saving online articles in the folder
Yesterday I decided to use a different machine
So, I synchronised my files to enable me to work on different system
Since then I have lost all the file in the folder
The folder is now empty.
I don't know how to retrieve the documents

And this is on the original machine where you created the collection?
Everything in your library is still the same?
Have you checked your Zotero trash?
Have you deleted items anywhere else in your library since?

No on different machine
and I have not deleted any item in my library
I have checked my trash is empty

APES04 IS THE FOLDER NAME IN THE LIBRARY

I understand that you're frustrated, but please don't use all caps.

Have you checked if the items are still on the original machine? Are they online (when you click on "My Library" at the top left).

I suspect this is just Changes Not Syncing — the changes haven't synced from the other machine. There are only two items in that collection in the online library.
