exporting notes in csv file

I know how to export my library into a csv file but how do I keep my notes? I see there is a column called "abstract note" in the csv file but I cannot see where I can enter an "abstract note".

    When you export to CSV, there is a checkbox "include notes". Check that and notes are exported. (abstractNote is the internal name of the Abstract field).

    Thank you. I tried that and it works but there are extra characters in the boxes. Here is an example of what appears under the "Notes" column.

    this is a test note

    The extra characters did not show up in the post above but there were some p's and an nbsp in brackets before and after.

    it's html -- notes are in html -- you'd have to filter that out if you don't want it. (OpenRefine has a function for that, for example)
