Accidentally deleted an entire collection for my dissertation

Hi guys.
I accidentally deleted an entire collection that detailed one of my dissertation's chapter (titled "Depth Cues"). I desperately need help on how to restore them.
My online backup does not have the collection either and I am simply gutted that a whole load of research just went down the drain.
Is there any way that I rectify this?

    It's likely that you only deleted the collection, but not the gems in it. If you look at the overall My Library view, do you see there deleted items here? If so, you can make a new collection and re-add them.

    Otherwise, you can try to restore a backup of your Zotero library:
