Export/Import data from VCH Biblio to Zotero

I am trying to export data (whole collections, 7000 and 10000 entries, entries are multiple tagged) from our old literature administration program VCH Biblio release 6 for windows to Zotero, but as far as I know Zotero does not support the format needed: bx.wft (?)

The import to Zotero fails.

Now the only option I see is that we have to transfer every single entry manually what will cost a lot of time. Or is there a possibility to transfer data automatically from VCH Biblio to Zotero(e.g. to download bx.wft)?

I'm not familiar with VCH Biblio, nor has it come up here before. Does it really not export into any other format (RIS, for example?).

If not, I don't see any easy solution, sorry.

Thank you very much for your answer. VCH Biblio, indeed, does not support any other format to export the data. It does support HTML and RTF which doesn't solve the problem.

You can try this: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/importing_formatted_bibliographies
but I'm not sure to what extent it's going to be worthwhile. You could also see if you can somehow extract a list of DOIs and ISBNs, which you can easily import into Zotero.

I don't see any way how you'd keep the tagging, though, without a proper export format.

Thanks a lot, adamsmith and noksagt. Sorry for the late answer, just back from vacation. Maybe the converter will work, indeed. Thanks for the hint, noksagt - I did not find the link during my research on solutions.
