Exporting folder with attachments - process does not stop

Dear community members,

I want to export two folders (one group library folder; one from my own library) onto my desktop. Both folders contain pdfs which I want to export as well.
I have started the process with the group library folder by right clicking on the folder - the process is ongoing since two hours now and it only shows me a progress bar saying "Exporting items"...
Is it normal that it takes hours? If not, how can I export folders in a faster way with keeping the pdfs?
(I have bought extra storage space.)
