Hi there,

Zotero has trouble syncing, I sent the report with the ID above.
Says (icon): "Error connecting to server. Check your Internet connection."
Internet connection is obviously fine.
Using Zotero for Firefox (Mozilla Firefox 46.0) on Ubuntu 14.04.
Could you please let me know what the issue is?

We've had a few reports of this with Firefox 46, but we can't reproduce it.

No particular reason this should matter, but just to test, does toggling extensions.zotero.sync.server.compressData to false in about:config make a difference? (If not, you can reset back to true.)

I changed the config as you suggested, but it makes no differences, the same error persists.

I don't know how or why, but the error disappeared, without me changing any setting today (In the morning the problem still persisted). Would be nice to know if anyone has any idea what it was...
