Upgrade StorageSociety of Biblical Literature 2nd Edition with Series Abbreviation Workaround
Hello all,
I've got hundreds of entries in my bibliography that have series titles, but the standard SBL csl doesn't accomodacte series abbreviations. As a work around, I've modified the csl so that the "extra" field now maps onto the "series" field in notes (but not the bibliography). It's not smart enough to known when you don't have an abbreviation (like with Hermeneia commentaries), so make sure you don't leave the extra field blank.
Some examples:
Craig R. Koester, Revelation: A New Translation with Introduction and Commentary, AYB 38A (New Haven: Yale University Press, 2014), 590.
Koester, Revelation, 593.
Koester, Craig R. Revelation: A New Translation with Introduction and Commentary. Anchor (Yale) Bible 38A. New Haven: Yale University Press, 2014.
