Note too long to sync

I've been unable to sync any new material because I have been given an error message "X file is too long to sync". I've tried shortening it several ways, deleting it and emptying my trash but the error message is still there whenever I press sync.

    You're running an outdated version of Zotero, 4.0.23. Not sure why it didn't auto-upgrade for you (possibly an issue with security software), but upgrade to the latest version from zotero.org. The current version will give you a button to locate the note in question. (The message what it says, though — you're just not locating and modifying the right item.)

    I am experiencing the same problem with 4.0.28.10. The problem is that I don't know to locate the entry

    <p><img src="data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAA

    How do I use extended search (or some other tool) to find this string? Search in Code does not work. I have added a lot of entries and I don't see any easy means to recover the png starting with iVBORw0KGgoAAAA

    As I say, the dialog in the latest version should give you a button that will locate the note for you.

    If that's not working for some reason, using the quick search bar to search for "<img" should do it, as should "iVBORw0KGgoAAAA". You have to be in "All Fields & Tags" mode.
