zotero add-ons to Nightly are not verified (disabled) on win 10

First, my congratulations to the hole team of zotero, it is a really useful software for research.
I have the add-ons for firefox\Nightly zotero installed in all my computers.
In the past few days I installed windows 10 in two of then and after it the zotero add-ons were disabled by Nightly 43.0a1.
The add-ons are:
Zotero 4.0.28 (disabled)
Zotero Better Bib(La)Tex 1.2.0 (disabled)
Zotero Word for Windows Integration 3.1.20 (disabled)

What can I do?
  • Zotero will frequently not work with the nightly builds, so that's not surprising. Dan will likely have more on this, but if you're going to run FF nightly, you should definitely be running Zotero beta, where any compatibility fixes will land first:

  • I can not install anything, the report is
«Nightly has prevent this site from installing an unverified add-on».

Zotero isn't yet signed, so you'll need to toggle xpinstall.signatures.required to install it in Nightly. (And as adamsmith says, you should be running the beta version of Zotero if you're running a dev version of Firefox.)

ah, right -- so yeah, FF is moving towards requiring verification for add-ons. Zotero is aware of this and will get Zotero verified as needed when mozilla goes ahead and does impose that for the regular version, but until then I'd look over at mozilla help and see if/how you can override that setting.

    edit: i.e. what Dan says.
  • That was perfect.
    Tks.
