How do I keep only links to websites and remove snapshot data?

Hi

My Zotero library has now grown to 5GB. I think this is because I always store a snapshot of the website I 'bookmark'. I either bookmark academic papers or websites. I would like to keep the PDFs that were downloaded with the papers, but other than that I would like to remove all snapshot data to reduce my library size. It's not clear how I can do this.

I've tried this approach but with no success (there weren't many snapshots found in the search): https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/47413/purge-snapshots/

If anyone can suggest an approach I would be very grateful.

Thank you
Daniel
  • What's the name of some of the Snapshots the way it's displayed in Zotero's center pane?
  • I think they are the same name as the title.
  • if you use the search proposed by me initially, i.e. simply
Attachment File Type -- is -- Web Page
    that should work nicely.
  • Thanks, that looks like it's worked when I browse my library, but the size of my library remains the same. Would deleting these delete the files in my library as well?
  • have you emptied your Zotero trash?
  • I emptied my computers trash. How do I empty the Zotero trash?
