can't import book citations from the library catalog of University of Victoria

Hi,

I am using the older version of zotero plug in to work with Firefox 24.4. It can't import book records from the library catalog of University of Victoria, BC, Canada. Here is the link http://voyager.library.uvic.ca/vwebv/holdingsInfo?bibId=3259979. No new item was added to my zotero window when I clicked at the book icon.

works with current versions of Zotero and Firefox. Sorry, we can't help troubleshoot problems with outdated versions (and you really, really shouldn't run outdated browsers).

It worked on Worldcat. It also worked on the library catalog of University of British Columbia, Canada (http://webcat2.library.ubc.ca/vwebv/holdingsInfo?searchId=53450&recCount=10&recPointer=0&bibId=6421127). But not our catalog at http://voyager.library.uvic.ca/vwebv/holdingsInfo?bibId=2884279. thanks!

Hi, today I tried importing book records from the library catalog of University of Victoria, BC, Canada using my home PC. It worked! My home PC also has the latest Firefox and Zotero Plugin. Has the problem been fixed? I will try it again with my office PC next week. Thanks!

we didn't do anything. It's possible there's a problem with this in Firefox 31, though that'd be odd in this case at least.

I figured out the cause of this problem. Firefox in my office PC is set to "always use private browsing mode". After I turned it off, everything works fine!
