Retrieving methadata of pdf files

when I drag and drop a pdf file to zotero, right click and select retrieve methadata, the resource works, I can see for some seconds the complete reference, but suddenly all disapear from zotero, inclusive the pdf... what can be happening?

    I imagine you're using some third-party Zotero-related extension that's doing this. (I forget which one does this, but we've seen it before.)
