Bug report - select always fails on first try

Mac version. The first attempt to select an item, for example to drag it into a collection, always fails. Try again immediately, and it works.

This has been bothering me for years — it happens on the first drag after a restart — but I'd never tracked down the cause until now. I've put in a temporary workaround (that works for me, at least) in the 4.0 Beta. The next major version of Zotero will have a proper fix, but I believe this should avoid the problem for now.
