Style Error: [International Journal of Humanoid Robotics]

I see that this style got added about a year ago after this post of mine:
https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/23514/help-identifying-journal-citation-style/
(thanks!) but there is an error.

In the "Typesetting Instructions" downloadable from this page:
http://www.worldscientific.com/page/authors/journal-stylefiles

it says that "References are to be listed in the order cited in the text." But when I use this style, it alphabetizes the references list, then changes the citations accordingly. Can this be fixed asap? Thanks!
  • Should be fixed: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/commit/0c0194c76e742b3c83952fdea927618df563c42f

You should be able to find the updated version in the style repository in half an hour or so.
  • awesomesauce. Thank you!
  • However, I just noticed an error in the way web pages are cited. Instead of a URL and access date for a given website, the reference shows up as:

NASA - Astronaut Glove Competition, (n.d.).

While there is no example of reference format for webpages from this journal explicitly, I assume this can be borrowed from IEEE format, another standard within the same industry/genre of journals. Thanks!
  • That's a bit more work to fix. You can try to change this yourself with
    http://editor.citationstyles.org/about/ .
  • Thanks I tried, but really don't understand how to use it.
  • Also, for conference paper references, there needs to be a space between the name of the conference and the open parenthesis ( that encloses the location and year. Can anyone help with this as well as the webpage error? Thanks!
  • The style is now fixed. The updated version will appear on the repository within 30mins (check the timestamp). Update your copy of the style by re-installing it from the repository. (See here if you need instructions for installing styles in standalone.)

Styles should also update automatically within 24hs for Zotero 4.0+
In an existing document, you may have to switch to a different style and back for the changes to take effect once the style is updated.
Any further problems please let us know.
  • Great, thanks!
